In order to try and be a little more organized and allow my main page to have an RSS Feed, I will be trying a new format. I'll save the old one and go back to it if this ones does not work, but please bare with me and feel free to make comments and suggestions. I don't find this new format as aesthetically pleasing, but I am hoping it will streamline things for myself and others :) There are some people who wish to just follow certain blogs because they are interested in a certain topic I cover... say The Art of Mothering and you can RSS feed just to that blog. There are others who want reminders of everything I write, so I will keep my blog headings and then post a link here with description about each new post. Iff you RSS feed to this page it will notify you EVERY time I put a new blog up and you will follow the link to the page :) W

Cowgirl Chic... Where Ever You Are <3

Kimber and her husband currently live in beautiful North Western Montana with their seven children (two grown) and a plethora of animals. While growing up mainly in the cities of the south eastern United States, she has come to appreciate the simple joys and laughable situations she finds herself in, married to a cowboy and living on a 200 + acre farm miles outside of a town of 300 people. They have decided to make a big change .... they are moving off the farm but Kimber isn't quite ready to give up rural life completely and will have a horses, a garden and chickens at their new home. This move will give her more time to pursue her favorite activities of up cycling and re-purposing  furniture!

This blog is meant to share the joys, challenges and daily struggles of a large family, and of a woman who bends and molds herself into a self proclaimed "counterfeit country girl." She has found that the series of struggles, fortunate and humorous events have strengthened and expanded her understanding of  parenting, life, relationships, and faith. Over time she hopes to share her passion for home decorating, up-cycling, and all things home!

Her pastimes include creating a beautiful home within a tight budget, navigating the life of her seven children (five at home & two who've flown the coop), singing,  songwriting,  face-booking,  reading, writing, crafting (which occasionally includes dangerous power tools), attending activities with her girl friends, and country swing dancing with her husband.
She believes that laughing, kissing, holding hands, relishing the sweetness of children, supporting families, staying positive in the face of whatever life throws your way, and celebrating faith is the way to a healthy and lovely life. Simplicity of life is kind to the soul and does not allow one to get caught up in keeping up with others. It is a deep hope those who read this blog will be blessed and find a little something to brighten up and encourage them on their path.
